Giving birth is an important life event. It is my job to help make it a positive memory. My birth doula services include:

These meetings focus on birth plan preparation, breastfeeding education, baby gear and product review, newborn care, baby calming techniques, and what to expect during the first few weeks postpartum.

During early labor we will be in contact by phone until you want my services in person. I will then join you at the location of your choice and will stay with you through the birth of your baby. Typically I stay with you 1-2 hours post delivery making sure that baby's first feeding has been started and that mom and dad have food.

I continue to be available for questions after you give birth and offer to visit around day 3 and week 3 postpartum. These visits are focused on nursing, newborn care questions, and recovery for mom.
